Jackson, Morrow Inducted Into NY Broadcasters Hall Of Fame

Radio legends HAL JACKSON and "COUSIN BRUCIE" BRUCE MORROW were inducted into the NEW YORIK STATE BROADCASTERS HALL OF FAME yesterday, during the organization's gathering at LAKE GEORGE.
JACKSON, CHAIRMAN of INNER CITY BROADCASTING, has been in radio for 60 years, and still hosts a SUNDAY afternoon show on INNER CITY Urban AC WBLS/NEW YORK. MORROW, who is currently heard on SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO, was a fixture at numerous NEW YORK CITY-area stations over the years, most notably WABC and WCBS-F.
Other inductees included WNBC-TV/NEW YORK journalist GABE PRESSMAN, retired WKBW-TV/BUFFALO anchorman IRV WEINSTEIN, and retired WRGB-TV/SCHENECTADY anchorman ERNIE TETRAULT.
Previous inductees include WALTER CRONKITE, DON IMUS, GEORGE "HOUND DOG" LORENZ and FRANKIE CROCKER.
