Former WJNO PD, Anchor John Picano Loses Battle With Cancer

Condolences to family and friends of former Talk WJNO-A/WEST PALM BEACH PD/News Director JOHN PICANO, who died THURSDAY morning (11/22) at his home near WEST PALM BEACH after a battle with lung cancer at 60, according to the PALM BEACH POST.

PICANO, most recently Public Relations and Guest Services Manager at the SOUTH FLORIDA FAIR, was at WJNO in the 1970s and 1980s, anchoring the morning show and programming the station before moving into PR.
