Chris Young To Perform At Tennessee Tree Lighting Ceremony

The TENNESSEE Capitol will hold its annual CHRISTMAS tree lighting ceremony TONIGHT (11/26) at 5:30p (CT), and feature a performance by TENNESSEE native and RCA NASHVILLE artist, CHRIS YOUNG. TENNESSEE GOVERNOR, BILL HASLAM will also make an appearance.
The tree that was selected this year is a 30 foot NORWAY SPRUCE from ARLINGTON, TENNESSEE. It will be decorated with more than 6,000 lights.
The event will last until 7p (CT) and take place at NASHVILLE’s WAR MEMORIAL PLAZA. Horse & carriage rides, food trucks, an appearance by SANTA CLAUS and a live reindeer named SNOWFLAKE will be on hand.
The event is free and open to the public.
