Win one, lose one for the AMERICAN FAMILY ASSOCIATION, which appealed a $10,000 fine for main studio violations at KBMP/ENTERPRISE, KS and got the FCC to agree that the $7,000 portion of the fine for the actual violations was barred by the statute of limitations but a $3,000. fine for "failure to respond fully to an Enforcement Bureau letter of inquiry" and an admonishment was upheld.
The AFA had admitted prior main studio violations but subsequently got a waiver covering the studio move, and said it did not fully answer an Enforcement Bureau inquiry because it assumed the bureau was unaware of the waiver grant.
