As ALL ACCESS previously reported (NET NEWS 11/20), 19/MERCURY NASHVILLE artist SCOTTY McCREERY turned a scheduled “CHRISTMAS WITH SCOTTY McCREERY” stop in NYC on FRIDAY (11/23) into a HURRICANE SANDY benefit concert.
Renamed “BEACON THEATER BENEFIT FOR HURRICANE SANDY RELIEF,” a portion of the evening’s ticket sales were donated to the WORLD VISION organization to help with clean up and relief efforts from the OCTOBER hurricane.
Fans of SCOTTY’s "American Idol" season got a special surprise when he invited fellow AI alum, PIA TOSCANO, to perform during the event.
The BEACON THEATER BENEFIT FOR HURRICANE SANDY RELIEF raised $5000 for WORLD VISION. McCREERY and TOSCANO presented a check to the organization after the show.
