Matthew McConaughey, Jack Ingram, Mack Brown Create Event For Kids' Charities

Actor MATTHEW MCCONAUGHEY, artist JACK INGRAM, and THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS Head Football Coach MACK BROWN are teaming up for a special two-day event to support various charitable organizations that help to empower kids across the nation.
They will be kicking off the inaugural MACK, JACK and MCCONAUGHEY (MJ&M) event, a nationwide philanthropic effort to make an impact in the lives of underprivileged children. "We wanted to create a true, lasting impact and that inspired us to come together," said INGRAM.
"Our commitment to children's charities and our passion to empower kids is why we joined together to create this important effort," said all three in a joint statement. "This is a great opportunity for everyone in TEXAS to make a big impact across the entire country."
The event will take place on APRIL11-12, 2013, and will be a two-day celebration including celebrity-filled, unique events across AUSTIN, TX. Additional details will be announced. For more information visit mackjackmcconaughey.org.
