HARRIS BROADCAST has reconfigured its radio broadcast sales territories in NORTH AMERICA and hired JIM THOMASON, a 30-year veteran in the radio broadcast industry, to focus on the SOUTHEAST U.S. region. The move will shift long-time regional sales manager GARRETT WOOD to the NORTHWEST region, including ALASKA and WESTERN CANADA.
THOMASON previously worked for HARRIS as a District Sales Manager. "With JIM’s hiring, we have taken the opportunity to shift sales responsibilities in a way that leverages the regional strengths of our existing sales representatives in the U.S. and CANADA," HARRIS BROADCAST Manager/NORTH AMERICAN Radio Sales MARK GOINS said. "We had a unique opportunity in the northwest and Garrett stepped up to the challenge, as he has experience in this territory. We believe that the changes will benefit our customers in every region."
"HARRIS has set a gold standard of what customers expect in terms of products and service," THOMASON said. "My biggest challenge is making sure that customers understand how what they are buying today can play a significant role in their facility years from now. HARRIS has always had remarkable insight into understanding what lies ahead for the industry, and developing solutions with the future in mind."
