“NO SHAVE NOVEMBER”, the radio and music industry-wide benefit for ST. JUDE CHILDREN’s RESEARCH HOSPITAL will finish up TODAY (11/30), and during the past four days- the final week of competition- there have been some major shifts in potential winners for this year.
As ALL ACCESS previously reported, (NET NEWS 11/26) Team CASEY JAMES has been the competition leader throughout the majority of the month. In the individual category, MERCURY RECORDS NASHVILLE VP/Promotion DAMON MOBERLY has been the frontrunner.
Seemingly from out of nowhere, THE VALORY CO. VP/ Promotion GEORGE BRINER has taken a massive lead in the individual category, having raised $17,265. MOBERLY remains in second place at $5,200.
Team CASEY JAMES still tops the team competition with $8,448. Thompson Square is in a close second place, with $7,724 on their leaderboard as of 9:05a (CT), TODAY.
These final days of competition have heated up the fundraising effort, bringing in 35% of the total money raised within the past 4 days alone. Currently, “NO SHAVE NOVEMBER” total money raised is at $98,746. This is just $1,254 shy of the $100,000 goal.
Donations can be made through 5p (CT) TODAY (11/30). Participants will then celebrate their efforts (and show off their beards) at the “BEARD BASH” party being held at THE RED ROOSTER in NASHVILLE at 5p (CT).
