MERCURY NASHVILLE artist LAUREN ALAINA celebrated her 18th birthday earlier this month (NET NEWS 11/13) and CLEAR CHANNEL MEDIA Country WMZQ/ WASHINGTON D.C.’s Morning personality BOXER sat down with ALAINA’s new friend JORDAN TRUNFIO to get the scoop on the event.

TRUNFIO is the VIRGINIA teenager that ALAINA had surprised at his high school’s homecoming dance in OCTOBER (NET NEWS 10/23). Since the dance, the pair have kept in touch. LAUREN’s mother had invited JORDAN and his friends to the surprise Prom-themed 18th birthday bash in ROSCOE, GEORGIA. Coincidentally, JORDAN and LAUREN also share the same birthday.

TRUNFIO told BOXER details of the event such as everyone being asked to wear nice clothes, the party having CHIK-FIL-A food, going to IHOP with LAUREN and her boyfriend for a late night snack. As an unexpected surprise, ALAINA picked up the hotel and room service tab for TRUNFIO and his guests, which totaled around $1500.
