Condolences to family and friends of longtime MONTREAL radio newscaster KATHY COULOMBE, who died FRIDAY (11/30) of lung cancer at 56, according to the MONTREAL GAZETTE.

COULOMBE came to the market in 1979 after five years at CFOM/QUEBEC CITY and was heard on CJAD-A, CJFM (then MIX 96), CHOM, and RADIO-CANADA INTERNATIONAL until the latter, the CBC's shortwave service, was shut down this year.
