WILLIAM AND MARGARET NEECK, as co-trustees, are selling FM translator W256BZ/ALEXANDER CITY, AL to ALABAMA CHRISTIAN RADIO, INC. for $50,000. The translator rebroadcasts Oldies WBNM-A/ALEXANDER CITY.
In another filing with the FCC, NORTHERN KENTUCKY UNIVERSITY has requested a Silent STA for WPFB-A/MIDDLETOWN, OH "Until early next year, in preparation for potential sale. Duplicative service is provided by WNKN 105.9 in better quality and energy savings."
And AR BROADCASTING HOLDINGS, INC., the company headed by LARRY PATRICK to hold and sell CUMULUS spinoffs, has closed on the transfer of two CUMULUS spinoffs, Top 40 KCHZ (95.7 THE VIBE)/OTTAWA, KS-KANSAS CITY and Urban AC KMJK (MAGIC 107.3)/NORTH KANSAS CITY, MO-KANSAS CITY, back to CUMULUS (via CMP KC CORP.) for $16.75 million. PATRICK COMMUNICATIONS served as broker for the deal.
