Hurricane Relief Efforts Continue

CUMULUS Top 40 WWCK/FLINT and brand spankin’ new PD FIG are helping people affected by hurricanes KATRINA and RITA, through a cooperative effort with the FOOD BANK OF EASTERN MICHIGAN (FBEM) called CARAVAN FOR CARING. 

Each day, until October 9, collection vehicles will be set up at various locations throughout the listening area, accepting donations of non-perishable food items, cash and other essentials. Nearly 5000 pounds of food and $2000 has been has been collected this week. FBEM will, in turn, assist in the delivery and distribution to the disaster victims.
