Spotify Unveils Music Discovery Tools, Adds Metallica To Library

SPOTIFY has revamped its program to add discovery tools that make using the streaming music service easier.  

At a NEW YORK press conference THURSDAY, Founder and CEO DANIEL EK showed off a "follow" button allowing users to follow the recommendations of artists, celebrities, and other influential people.  The debut list of influencers includes METALLICA, which has ended its holdout and has released its music for streaming; drummer LARS ULRICH joined EK on stage at the press conference.  Also added is a "discover" tab for recommendations.
