WTKK Raises Over $100,000 On Fisher House Radiothon

GREATER MEDIA Talk WTKK (NEWS TALK 96.9)/BOSTON's 5th annual FISHER HOUSE Radiothon with host MICHAEL GRAHAM on THURSDAY (12/6) raised over $100,000 for the FISHER HOUSE FOUNDATION, which builds and operates housing near Veterans Administration hospitals to allow families of wounded servicepeople to have a place to stay while their loved ones recover.
GRAHAM was joined by the rest of the WTKK air staff, including JIM BRAUDE, MARGERY EAGAN, DOUG MEEHAN, syndicated host MICHAEL SMERCONISH, the PHANTOM GOURMET's ANDELMAN BROTHERS, plus visits from Sen. SCOTT BROWN (R-MA), BILL O'REILLY, DENNIS MILLER, GLENN BECK, RAY ROMANO, ROB SCHNEIDER, TED NUGENT, former PATRIOTS player MATT LIGHT, gymnast ALY RAISMAN, Playmate of the Year JACLYN SWEDBERG, FOX O&O WFXT-TV (FOX 25)'s DOUG "VB" GOUDIE, and comic CHRIS ZITO.
“On behalf of the families of the wounded warriors and their families served by the FISHER HOUSE here in BOSTON and houses across the country, I just want to say ‘thank you’ to the hundreds of WTKK listeners who donated during our radiothon,” said GRAHAM, who hosts afternoons at the station. “Your generosity never ceases to amaze me.”
