Former CLEAR CHANNEL Top 40/Rhythmic WWVA-F-WWLG (WILD 105.7 AND 96.7)/ATLANTA MD/APD/afternoon host JOE BREEZY has been named to the 2-7p (ET) afternoon hosting slot and Music Director position at CBS RADIO Top 40 WODS (103.3 AMP RADIO)/BOSTON. BREEZY will start on the station THURSDAY (12/13); he and PD DAN MASON worked together at KDND (107.9 THE END)/SACRAMENTO, and BREEZY also hosted mornings at KZON (101.5 JAMZ)/PHOENIX and nights at KYLD (WILD 94.9)/SAN FRANCISCO.
"Having worked together in SACRAMENTO, I know first-hand what a unique on-air talent JOE is and what an asset his programming experience will be to 103.3 AMP RADIO,” said MASON. “As a new brand in a competitive market, we are bolstering 103.3 AMP RADIO’s staff of passionate, creative people who are ready to make noise and win. So when JOE became available, this was a no brainer."
“When DAN MASON JR. and MICHAEL MARTIN call, you go...it's that simple. DAN is one of the most strategic thinkers I know and I couldn't be more ecstatic to join the team and help build a new winning brand for CBS,” said BREEZY. “Epecially in a special city like BOSTON!"
