89X/Detroit Promotes Jay Hudson To PD

BELL MEDIA/DETROIT-WINDSOR,CANADA VP/GM ERIC PROKSCH has named JAY HUDSON as PD of Alternative CIMX (89X). HUDSON has served as the station's MD and evening jock for the last six years.

HUDSON will move into the 3-7p shift, formally held by CAL CAGNO. CAGNO will take over mornings on 89X alongside newly acquired host RUSTY THOMSON.

HUDSON said, "I have to thank BELL MEDIA and GM ERIC PROKSCH for believing in me and allowing me to have this opportunity. I'm very fortunate to have a strong team around me that loves to win as much as I do, and I’m eager to help keep moving the station forward."
