Doug Meehan Departs From WTKK To Pursue Television

GREATER MEDIA Talk WTKK (NEWSTALK 96.9)/BOSTON middayer DOUG MEEHAN is leaving the station to pursue "a major market television opportunity" that will be announced in the near future.

MEEHAN has been heard on WTKK since MAY of 2011 and said, "I will forever be grateful to GREATER MEDIA/BOSTON and all the folks at NEWS TALK 96.9, WTKK. Hosting my own talk show -- in my home town -- has literally been a dream come true and I hope to have lived up to the expectations that both the station and the listeners deserved."
