Christian Panel Changes

The BILLBOARD CHRISTIAN CHARTS are rearranging and re-branding the radio station reporting panels, effective for the charts processed on 01/07.  

New for 2013 will be the HOT AC/CHR chart, replacing what was formerly known as CHR. Stations that will now be reporting to this new chart are: PILLAR OF FIRE Christian WAKW (93.3)/CINCINNATI,  GOFORTH MEDIA Christian WBHY (Power 88)/MOBILE,  CREATIVE MINISTRIES Christian WJTL (90.3 /LANCASTER PA,  TAMA BROADCASTING Christian WPUL (1590)/DAYTONA BEACH,  REACH COMMUNICATIONS Christian WREH (90.5) FT.  PIERCE FL,   BETHESDA CHRISTIAN BROADCASTING Christian KTPT (97.9 THE POINT)/RAPID CITY SD,  FAMILY COMMUNICATIONS Christian KZKZ (SPIRIT FM 106.3)/FT. SMITH AR,  POSITIVE ALTERNATIVE RADIO Christian WPER (VIRGINIA'S POSITIVE HITS)/FREDERICKSBURG VA,  and REACH RADIO NETWORK.  

Two stations who formerly reported to the CHR panel and will now become AC MONITORED reporters are WAY MEDIA Christian WAY/NASHVILLE  and OLIVET NAZARENE UNIVERSITY Christan WONU (SHINE FM) / CHICAGO.

New reporters to the BILLBOARD AC INDICATOR panel are CHRISTIAN LIFE COMMUNICATIONS Christian  WCLQ (89Q)/WAUSAU, WI  and former Soft AC reporter   AMERICAN FAMILY ASSOCIATION Christian AMERICAN FAMILY RADIO NETWORK.

Moving to the BILLBOARD CHRISTIAN ROCK panel are former CHR reporter KOXJ INC. Christian KCXR (100.3)/TULSA  and  SIERRA NEVADA CHRISTIAN MUSIC ASSOCIATION Christian KRNG (RENEGADE RADIO)/RENO.

The following stations have been removed from their respective reporting panels, and will no longer be referenced for chart tabulation:  BILLY GRAHAM EVANGELISTIC ASSOCIATION Christian WMIT (THE LIGHT)/ASHEVILLE NC,  CALVARY CHAPEL Christian KLYT (STATIC RADIO)/ALBUQUERQUE,  CHRISTIAN BROADCASTING Christian KAFC (93.7)/ANCHORAGE  and NAVAJO MINISTRIES Christian KNMI (VERTICAL RADIO)/FARMINGTON NM.

Other adjustments and tweaks could be forthcoming, but these are the only panel changes happening at this time.
