ARTIE LANGE, of DIRECTV’s The NICK & ARTIE Show, syndicated by PREMIERE NETWORKS, stars in this week's TV episode of the PIX 11 (CW NETWORK) program TASTE MAKERS. LANGE takes host LISA MATEO to a HOBOKEN, NJ landmark restaurant for his favorite meal. He also discusses his funniest memory of The HOWARD STERN Show, Crash & Burn (LANGE's forthcoming book), working with NICK DIPAOLO and playing Scrabble in a psych ward.
LANGE held nothing back with MATEO in an unfiltered conversation about his life both personally and professionally -- as well as his love of food. Having LANGE on TASTE MAKERS came from a discussion with the TV show's creator and executive producer TONY MONTE and EPIC RECORDS SVP/Promotion & Promotion Strategy ERIK OLESEN.
MONTE said, "ERIK has been very supportive of TASTE MAKERS, arranging BOOMER & CARTON as guests for an early episode. He recently suggested ARTIE LANGE and a few hours after that discussion, I ran into ARTIE on the street in GREENWICH VILLAGE. I told him of the conversation and by the end of that week, we had the shoot scheduled. ERIK has a golden touch for TASTE MAKERS because BOOMER & CARTON drew strong numbers and the ARTIE LANGE episode (in post-production) feels great. I’m anxiously waiting his next recommendation."
TASTE MAKERS is a weekly TV show airing on NEW YORK's CW NETWORK affiliate PIX 11, where celebrities take host LISA MATEO for their favorite meal. Viewers also learn how to make the meal, then join everyone at the table to eat and talk about food & fame.
Previous guests include JENNIFER ESPOSITO, SANDRA BERNHARD, JERRY SPRINGER, DANNY AIELLO and WYCLEF JEAN. They can be viewed at www.mytastemakers.tv.
