Katy Perry, Taylor Swift Win At People's Choice Awards

It was a big night for some of music's top female stars at THE PEOPLE'S CHOOICE AWARDS on CBS TV last night live from LOS ANGELES, where fans selected the winners in categories spanning music, movies and television.

KATY PERRY tok home three awards, winning as favorite female artist and pop artist. Her video for "Part of Me" also was voted a winner by the fans.

TAYLOR SWIFT made a splash wearing a white gown with a plunging neckline, and was presented with the award for favorite Country music artist. "Thank you for caring about this album and for caring about me," she said.

Featured performances by ALICIA KEYS, JASON ALDEAN and CHRISTINA AGUILERA (who also picked up an award) highlighted the evening.
