WPGC Becomes WRG3 For The Weekend

CBS RADIO Top 40/Rhythmic WPGC/WASHINGTON D.C. has 'changed' the station's call letters to WRG3 for the weekend to show support for injured WASHINGTON REDSKINS QB ROBERT GRIFFIN III (RG3). The REDSKINS were knocked out of the NFL playoffs last weekend and RG3 underwent knee surgery on WEDNESDAY (1/9) to repair ligament damage suffered during their loss to the SEATTLE SEAHAWKS.

WPGC PD JASON KIDD said, "While the playoffs may continue without the SKINS this weekend, we wanted to give the fans a little something to cheer for and at the same time thank RG3 for a great year and hope that he gets better soon!"
