Condolences to family and friends of tech and new media entrepreneur JODY SHERMAN, whose passing at 47 is being reported by TECHCRUNCH.
SHERMAN was best known as founder of the ECOMOM children's products site, but served as CEO of COMEDY WORLD RADIO NETWORK, the all-Comedy Internet and broadcast network in CULVER CITY, CA that operated in 2000-2002.
He previously served as VP New Business for NBC's interactive division and its predecessors MIGHTYMAIL NETWORKS and ZOOM.COM as well as with various tech companies like LYCOS; later, he was a partner in the ANDOJO venture capital fund and founded what became VIRGIN CHARTER, INC., and in his final years was CEO, Chairman and Founder of the LAS VEGAS-based ECOMOM.
