The HOUSTON ASTROS are moving to the AMERICAN LEAGUE this season, and the club will also be moving its radio broadcasts, from CLEAR CHANNEL News-Talk KTRH-A/HOUSTON to sister Sports KBME-A (SPORTSTALK 790). The team and station have reached a multi-year agreement to make the move from 740 to 790 AM.
Broadcasts begin with the Spring Training GRAPEFRUIT LEAGUE opener against the PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES in CLEARWATER, FL on FEBRUARY 23rd.
