WEEI And NESN Set Red Sox Jimmy Fund Radio-Telethon For August 27th-28th

ENTERCOM Sports WEEI-A/BOSTON and NESN will air the 12th annual RED SOX JIMMY FUND Radio-Telethon on AUGUST 27th and 28th this season.  The event marks the 60th anniversary of the relationship between the team and the charity, which benefits the DANA-FARBER CANCER INSTITUTE. 

The dates were announced at an event TODAY at which the RED SOX presented the fund with a $60,000 check as the team's "100th Act of Kindness" and named WILL MIDDLEBROOKS and JARROD SALTALAMACCHIA as the 2013 JIMMY FUND co-captains.

The Radio-Telethon has raised over $31 million for research, treatment, and care at DANA-FARBER.
