Condolences to family and friends of longtime SAN FRANCISCO radio and TV personality LEE NOBLE, who died JANUARY 27th in SAN FRANCISCO, weeks before what would have been his 92nd birthday, according to the MARIN INDEPENDENT JOURNAL.
NOBLE (full name LEE NOBLE MCEACHERN) started his career at WHBQ-A and WHBQ-TV/MEMPHIS before moving to SAN FRANCISCO in 1959, where he hosted at KFRC-A, KFOG, the old KRON-F (now KOIT), and at then-NBC affiliate KRON-TV and later owned a voiceover studio and school.
