Country group ALABAMA will celebrate their 40th anniversary with a new 2013 tour called “BACK TO THE BOWERY TOUR.” This will be the band’s first tour in 11 years.
In 1973, the guys made their first concert appearance at THE BOWERY in MYRTLE BEACH, SC. To mark the occasion, the “BACK TO THE BOWERY TOUR” will kick off in MYRTLE BEACH, with additional stops in ALABAMA, CONNECTICUT, GEORGIA, FLORIDA, NEW YORK and more. Tickets in select markets will go on sale FRIDAY (2/15).
"I'm so excited to celebrate 40 years since our first show at THE BOWERY," said ALABAMA’s RANDY OWEN. "We still love one another, have played music together all these years, and are blessed to still be around. Most importantly, we are ever grateful for the fans, many having been with us since we used to play for tips, so to be able to go back out and play for them will make this a very special year."
Also this year, ALABAMA will set sail with a four night Country music cruise, “ALABAMA AND FRIENDS FESTIVAL AT SEA,” on THURSDAY, OCTOBER 24th. Reservations can be made at www.AlabamaFestivalAtSea.com.
