Longtime HOWARD STERN crank caller "CAPTAIN JANKS" wormed his way onto live coverage of the shootout between ex-LAPD officer CHRISTOPHER DORNER and law enforcement agencies. KTAR.COM reports that in a call broadcast on CBS/LOS ANGELES, JANKS pretended to be MIKE TOWER, of the CALIFORNIA FISH & GAME department, who claimed that one of CF&G officials was first to spot DORNER.
"It was confirmed that there was gunfire," JANKS exclaimed. "Who it was, we don't know at this point. We believe it was RONNIE THE LIMO DRIVER firing at Mr. DORNER, and we believe he hit him." RONNIE THE LIMO DRIVER has long been identified as STERN's limo driver.
