KPNT Announces 'Pointfest" Lineup, Celebrates 20 Years Of The Point

All this month, EMMIS Alternative KPNT (105.7 THE POINT)/ST. LOUIS is celebrating 20 YEARS OF THE POINT and the station has now announced its 31st "POINTFEST" will be SUNDAY, MAY 12th with ALICE IN CHAINS, THREE DAYS GRACE, PAPA ROACH, BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE, VOLBEAT, HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD, SICK PUPPIES, HALESTORM, P.O.D., STARDOG CHAMPION and BLOODNSTUFF at VERIZON WIRELESS AMPHITHEATER.
POINTFEST tickets go on-sale to the general public this SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 16th at 10a with weekender LOREN broadcasting live from the VERIZON WIRELESS AMPHITHEATER box office. The first 105 people that purchase their POINTFEST tickets this SATURDAY at the box office will score a free POINT T-shirt.
20 Years Of The Point
This SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 17th officially marks the 20th Anniversary of THE POINT. THE POINT's 20th BIRTHDAY PARTY happens FEBRUARY 26th, featuring PASSION PIT and MATT & KIM. The station is celebrating all month long with a daily "birth month" prize giveaways and posting memories from the past 20 years of THE POINT on its website, including the audio from when THE POINT first launched in 1993 with "Radio Song" by R.E.M.
