UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA sports will stay with CUMULUS MEDIA's BIRMINGHAM stations and TOWNSQUARE MEDIA's TUSCALOOSA cluster under a contract extension through rights holder LEARFIELD SPORTS' CRIMSON TIDE SPORTS MARKETING. The extension is for five more years. CUMULUS Sports WJOX-A-F/BIRMINGHAM and TOWNSQUARE Country WFFN (95.3 THE BEAR) and Sports WDGM (THE DEUCE)/TUSCALOOSA will remain the football game coverage outlets. In BIRMINGHAM, the weekly "HEY COACH!" and football coach NICK SABAN's show will air on the FM side and women's basketball, baseball, and "CRIMSON TIDE TODAY" will air on the AM side. In TUSCALOOSA, baseball and SABAN's show will air on WFFN, with women's basketball, softball, and "HEY COACH!" airing on THE DEUCE.
