WJVC Dodges Winter Storm To Host ‘Girls With Guitars’ Show

JVC BROADCASTING Country WJVC/LONG ISLAND presented its "GIRLS WITH GUITARS" concert LAST NIGHT (3/7), despite a major WINTER storm bearing down on the ISLAND.

WJVC PHATHEAD said, "We basically took advantage of a window between 9a-2p, before the storm picked up again. We were tracking their planes coming into ISLIP AIRPORT like kids track SANTA on CHRISTMAS EVE. Everyone got in and the only glitch was that the airline lost LAUREN ALAINA’S luggage. Luckily LONG ISLAND is huge on malls, so we just took her shopping for new clothes!"

Playing the sold-out show to 1,200 fans were, ALAINA, JANA KRAMER, KRISTEN KELLY, KATIE ARMIGER, MAGGIE ROSE and SARAH DARLING. A portion of the proceeds went to the AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY.
