COLEMAN VP WARREN KURTZMAN will present “Inside vs. Outside Thinking: A New Paradigm for Radio Programming,” as part of the ALL ACCCESS CONCLAVE COLLEGE at this year's CONCLAVE, on THURSDAY, JULY 13th at 3p.
“When the attendees see the virtues of Outside Thinking and learn to program and brand their stations by viewing them from the outside as listeners do, they will not only become better and more successful at what they do, they will help improve the quality of radio broadcasting overall,” said KURTZMAN.
The presentation will include specific examples culled from COLEMAN’s extensive analysis of data from ARBITRON’s Portable People Meter (PPM) measurement trials. “We’ve heard a lot of discussion about how stations should do things differently to succeed in ‘a PPM world,’” commented COLEMAN president JON COLEMAN. “Warren’s presentation will show how the things that have always made great programmers and great stations successful will continue to do so when PPM data become the ratings currency.”
CONCLAVE 2006: FUTURE TENSE! happens from JULY 13th-16th at the MARRIOTT CITY CENTRE in MINNEAPOLIS. For more info, check out www.theconclave.com.
