Top REPUBLIC RECORDS recording artist and YOUNG MONEY CEO LIL WAYNE was hospitalized in LOS ANGELES this week after suffering what doctors said were multiple seizures. He was on a flight from TEXAS to LOS ANGELES when he began to convulse.

Reportedly, the flight was immediately diverted to LOUISIANA where LIL WEEZY was admitted to a local hospital for treatment. He became ill TUESDAY evening after shooting a music video,  taken to CEDARS-SINAI HOSPITAL, treated and released.

This is the third time the award-winning rapper has dealt with seizures. He suffered two on board separate flights last OCTOBER and had to be briefly hospitalized. Following this latest health scare a spokesperson for LIL WAYNE said that he is reportedly doing much better following a couple days rest.
