David Allan Coe Injured In Accident, Struck By Semi

ALL ACCESS sends well-wishes to Country artist DAVID ALLAN COE and others injured in an OCALA, FL traffic accident THIS MORNING (3/19).

The 73-year-old COE was cited for running a red light when a semi-truck hauling vegetable produce smashed into his CHEVROLET SUBURBAN. DAVID ALLAN had been wearing his seatbelt, but had to be pulled from the vehicle by OCALA FIRE RESCUE officials.

COE, as well as the driver and passenger of the semi were all injured and taken to area hospitals. The semi driver has been released, while his passenger remains in serious condition. BRUCE SMITH, manager for the singer, said that he remains in the hospital and is "doing okay." All are expected to make a full recovery.
