KRRV Raises $50,403 For St. Jude, Female Staff Shaves Their Head

Congratulations to CENLA BROADCASTING Country KRRV/ALEXANDRIA, LA staffers on raising $50,403 during their COUNTRY CARES FOR ST. JUDE KIDS RADIOTHON on THURSDAY, MARCH 7th and FRIDAY, MARCH 8th.

During the final hour of the event, on air personalities SHY TYLER and PAT CLOUD offered to shave their heads to tip the total over the $50,000 mark. SHY posted on FACEBOOK "This is the last hour in a half for the ST. JUDE RADIOTHON. I have decided to completely shave my head in honor of the ST. JUDE patients if we can raise $5000.00 before 6 tonight! That is about 21 partners in hope! I will shave it live on air and post the video for all to see!"

The head-shaving event took place that SATURDAY (3/9) at ALEXANDRIA MALL. Dozens of listeners turned out to donate their hair to LOCKS OF LOVE as well as watch the ladies go bald for the cause.
