CKSB-A Gets CRTC OK To Move To FM

The CRTC has approved the move of CBC-RADIO CANADA French LA PREMIERE CHAINE affiliate CKSB-A/ST. BONIFACE-WINNIPEG, MB from AM to 88.1 FM.

The station will transmit with 100,000 watts at 223 meters above average terrain.  The new facility will replace the AM station, which will simulcast for three months before going dark, and a nested FM rebroadcaster, CKSB-10-FM/WINNIPEG (90.5 FM).
