Steve Duemig Inks New Deal, Returns To Air At WDAE

STEVE DUEMIG is back on the air at CLEAR CHANNEL Sports WDAE-A/TAMPA after signing a new three-year deal at the station, reports the TAMPA BAY TIMES' ERIC DEGGANS.

DUEMIG was off the air for six days in a contract negotiating dispute regarding management allegedly wanting the host to sign a new deal before a window in his existing agreement opened allowing him to talk to other stations, such as crosstown CBS RADIO Sports WHFS-F (98.7 THE FAN) (NET NEWS 3/20).  He returned to the air last TUESDAY.

"...(A)m I happy?," DUEMIG told DEGGANS.  "I won't answer that."
