Minor league baseball's OKLAHOMA CITY REDHAWKS have inked an extension with CLEAR CHANNEL Sports KGHM-A (1340 THE GAME)/OKLAHOMA CITY to keep the HOUSTON ASTROS' Triple A affiliate on the station through 2015, extending the current deal that was to expire after the 2013 season. ALEX FREEDMAN is returning for a second season as the team's play-by-play voice.
"This is something we've been working toward since last summer," said REDHAWKS Pres./GM MICHAEL BYRNES. "We've had nothing but a great experience working with CLEAR CHANNEL. This partnership has been valuable for both sides, and we look forward to continue to improve upon it."
"CLEAR CHANNEL/OKLAHOMA CITY and 1340 THE GAME are very excited to continue our partnership with the REDHAWKS," said CLEAR CHANNEL VP/Market Manager BILL HURLEY. "Our association with the REDHAWKS continues to be a great way to extend our brand on THE GAME and on iHEARTRADIO where REDHAWKS fans can also listen to the games on 1340thegame.com and/or download the free app for your smartphone or tablet."
