Tim Leary Competes in Nathan’s International Hot Dog Eating Contest

Congrats to TRIAD BROADCASTING Country WUBB (BOB 106.9)/SAVANNAH, GA morning personality TIM LEARY, who recently took part in “NATHAN’s INTERNATIONAL HOT DOG EATING CONTEST.” The top male and female from this qualifying round will move onto JULY 4th finals on CONEY ISLAND.

LEARY managed to slug down nine dogs, including the buns, in the 10-minutes allotted. TIM lost to several professional eaters who came to SAVANNAH for the competition, including the winner of the event, competitive eater from BOSTON, PETE 'PRETTY BOY' DAVEKOS, who ate 25 hot dogs and buns in the allotted 10 minutes.

"The bread is what killed me. Trust me, nothing tastes worse than a water-soaked hot dog bun,” said LEARY.
