Ryan Seacrest Gets 'Swatted'

At Least No One Called And Asked If His Refrigerator's Running....

Apparently, pushing the front door bell and running away is not "in" anymore when you want to prank the HOLLYWOOD elite. KIIS/LOS ANGELES morning  star and "American Idol" host RYAN SEACREST is the latest celebrity who has "swatted."

TMZ reports that a 911 call came in from someone claiming to have heard gunshots being fired inside a house by "mobster looking guys in suits with rifles." Naturally, the police SWAT teams were called in to the residence -- which in this case was the one SEACREST recently purchased from ELLEN DEGENERES.

Ironically, during SEACREST's morning show that very same day, RUSSELL BRAND called in and told SEACREST about being "swatted" himself. And they are not alone. Within the past few days, RIHANNA, JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE, SELENA GOMEZ and DIDDY have all been swatted.

Maybe it's time to call in the drones.
