On the WEDNESDAY, APRIL 10th edition of "American Idol," one of the Top 6 contestants, ANGIE MILLER, received a standing ovation from the crowd and judges. ANGIE chose a KARI JOBE song to perform as her "Song I wish I had written" selection, delivering a powerful rendition of "Love Came Down."
After seeing the performance, KARI said, "I have watched 'American Idol' for 12 years, and it was so much fun to have 'Love Came Down' on there this week. I met ANGIE a year ago and was blown away by her talent and love for Jesus! Excited for her!"
MILLER, who has become a fan favorite of Christian music MD's and PD's across the country, also Tweeted last night to JOBE, "I watched you perform 'Love Came Down' quite some time ago and fell in love with it. Thank you for inspiring me so much! Love you!".
ANGIE'S parents are pastors of REMIX CHURCH in SALEM MA, where she served as lead singer of the worship team before AMERICAN IDOL. In case you missed it, you can watch her performance of "Love Came Down" here.
