Rob Williams Promoted To VP Of Greater Media/Boston

GREATER MEDIA has upped Market Manager ROB WILLIAMS to VP of the company’s BOSTON-based radio properties, including AC WMJX (MAGIC 106.7), Top 40 WBQT (HOT 96.9), Country WKLB, Alternative WBOS (RADIO 92.9) and Classic Hits WROR.

"ROB has done an outstanding job since he joined GREATER MEDIA/BOSTON in taking the cluster to the next level," said Chairman/CEO PETER H. SMYTH. "He is a brilliant strategist and respected leader.  We are very proud to have him in our family."

WILLIAMS joined GREATER MEDIA/BOSTON as Market Manager in JANUARY of 2012. Prior to joining the company, he served as CEO of DIGITAL BRAND CONNECTIONS LLC, a company he co-founded. Prior to that, WILLIAMS was a long time executive with CLEAR CHANNEL RADIO, where he led the company’s largest region by revenue (29 markets including major markets NEW YORK CITY, PHILADELPHIA and BOSTON), and later served as Pres./Market Manager for CLEAR CHANNEL/NEW YORK CITY.
