RIAA Reports Gold And Platinum Digital Rush

The RIAA has awarded 10 musical acts with their first digital award certifications in MARCH. Receiving their first double-Platinum single awards were MONSTERS AND MEN for "Little Talks," SWEDISH HOUSE MAFIA for "Don’t You Worry Child" and WILL.I.AM for "Scream & Shout." The RIAA also awarded two first Platinum song awards to GARY ALLAN for "Every Storm (Runs Out Of Rain)" and MAC MILLER for "Donald Trump."
Earning their first Gold song certifications were KACEY MUSGRAVES for "Merry Go’ Round," OLLY MURS for "Troublemaker," PASSION PIT’s "Take A Walk," MATT REDMAN’s "10,000 Reasons (Bless The Lord)" and SICK PUPPIES’ "You’re Going Down." Also, FLORIDA GEORGIA Line a RIAA Gold award for their debut album "Here’s To The Good Times" and another for the song "Get Your Shine On."
JACK WHITE of THE WHITE STRIPES picked up his first solo Gold album award for "Blunderbuss."
Elsewhere, JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE received his fifth Platinum digital single award for "Suit & Tie," while TAYLOR SWIFT also secured a new Platinum for "Begin Again" (her 21st Platinum), while SWIFT’s "22" was certified Gold (her 13th Gold son!). CARRIE UNDERWOOD received her 16th Gold for "Two Black Cadillacs," TIM MCGRAW took home his 14th for "One of Those Nights" and BLAKE SHELTON earned his 12th for "Sure Be Cool If You Did."
