CUMULUS Country KRST/ALBUQUERQUE has tapped veteran air talent SCOTT SIMON as an addition to the KRST “CET UP GANG” morning show. SIMON was most recently at ALPHA BROADCASTING Country KUPL/PORTLAND, OR and has also worked at ENTERCOM Country KWJJ/PORTLAND, OR, BEASLEY Country WKIS/MIAMI and others.

‘‘We are excited to have a talent the caliber of SCOTT to join CUMULUS,” said SVP/Programming MIKE McVAY. OM KRIS ABRAMS said,  ‘‘Like KRST, SCOTT wins. He knows how to embrace a heritage brand while keeping it hip, new and fresh. He’ll fit right into ALBUQUERQUE’s #1 Country station.”

SIMON, who will also take MD duties at KRST, starts his new job on MONDAY, APRIL 29th.
