A feature of the new NPR headquarters building in WASHINGTON is an onsite wellness center opened WEDNESDAY (4/24) in cooperation with CIGNA. The center, staffed by a nurse practitioner and medical assistant and open 24 hours, is available to all full- and part-time employees for no co-pay or out-of-pocket expense.
"We looked at our new headquarters as an opportunity to advance employee health and wellness initiatives," said NPR "Chief People Officer" JEFF PERKINS. "Our Wellness Center is going to improve our staff's overall health, save our employees time and money, and increase workplace productivity - all keys to improving work-life integration."
