AOL Music Is Gone, But AOL Radio Lives On

As ALL ACCESS reported FRIDAY (NET NEWS 4/26), AOL MUSIC has shut down. A few dozen employees have been laid off, but the move does not affect AOL RADIO.

AOL MUSIC Editor DAN REILLY tweeted  FRIDAY, "Well, we all just got laid off. AOL MUSIC is finished," and then followed up, "Sitting in an HR meeting right now, trying to negotiate keeping our computers for a few more days."

ALL ACCESS hears from inside sources that AOL RADIO will continue to operate under the management of PD THOMAS CHAU, and will keep the DJs who currently run the station.
