HUBBARD News WTOP/WASHINGTON and crosstown ALLBRITTON ABC affiliate WJLA-TV (ABC7) have entered a new joint traffic partnership under which ABC7's morning traffic reports will be broadcast from WTOP's "glass-enclosed nerve center" studios, starting TUESDAY (4/30). ABC7's AMANDA MEADOWS will report live six times an hour from 5 to 7a and twice an hour 7-9a, with ROB WOODFORK producing.
“This new traffic partnership will provide ABC7 viewers with up-to-the-minute traffic information before they get behind the wheel, while reinforcing WTOP’s image as the traffic authority in the region,” said WJLA-TV GM BILL LORD.
WTOP PD LAURIE CANTILLO added, “WTOP Traffic is everywhere: on the radio, mobile, the web, TWITTER, and now on morning television with our great partners at ABC7.”
