BUSINESSTALKRADIO.NET ACQUISITIONS CORP. Receiver MICHAEL CRAVEN and WURP EAST, INC. are selling Talk WLFP-A/BRADDOCK, PA to AM GUYS, LLC for $14,515 cash.

The licensee is also asking for a Silent STA for K209CE to modify the facility.

Backyard Sells in Elmira-Corning, Muncie-Anderson
In a deal yet to be filed with the FCC, COMMUNITY BROADCASTERS, headed by JIM LEVEN and BRUCE MITTMAN, have purchased seven stations from BACKYARD BROADCASTING for $3.6 million. The stations include Talk WWLZ-A and Country WPGI (100.9 THE BIG PIG)/HORSEHEADS-ELMIRA, NY; Hot AC WNKI (WINK 106)/CORNING, NY; Classic Rock WNGZ (WINGZ 104.9)/MONTOUR FALLS-ELMIRA, NY; Classic Rock WRCE-A (simulcasting WNGZ)/WATKINS GLEN, NY; and Oldies WHDL-A and Country WPIG (PIG 95.7)/OLEAN, NY.
In another deal announced but not yet filed with the Commission, WOOF BOOM RADIO, headed by former EMMIS and MAVERICK MEDIA executive JERRY "J" CHAPMAN with CONORMARA INVESTMENST' RAY KENNEDY, WESTBRIDGE INVESTMENTS' JASON FARMER, and AARON REITZ, is buying six stations and an FM translator in INDIANA from BACKYARD BROADCASTING for an undisclosed price. The stations include Hot AC WLBC, Sports WXFN-A, and Oldies WERK/MUNCIE, IN; Talk WHBU-A/ANDERSON, IN; and Classic Rock simulcast WMXQ/HARTFORD CITY, IN-WMQX/ALEXANDRIA, IN. FM translator W275AJ/MUNCIE is also included in the deal.
