Sony BMG Signs Music "Vending" Deal

Soft drinks, snacks ... and now music will be available via vending machine, as SONY BMG signs a deal with MEDIAPORT ENTERTAINMENT to sell music via the company's unmanned kiosks and website.

"MediaATM" kiosks sell music, videos and electronic games which can be burned to CD, or downloaded to portable devices via USB connection. Customers will be able to select albums or create customized compilations from a wide range of SONY BMG artists. Purchases can also be made at www.mediaport.com.
