JIMMY FALLON welcomes ROBBINS ENTERTAINMENT R&B group AHMIR to NBC on tonight (5/20) to open the week with a performance to celebrate the release of the group’s debut single, "War." AHMIR will be backed by FALLON’s award-winning house band, THE ROOTS.

The group secured the coveted booking after a chance encounter with FALLON while singing for QUESTLOVE during a brief introduction backstage at the show.

The nearly 400,000 subscribers and over 70 million views, have made AHMIR the #1 most viewed R&B group on YOUTUBE. YAHOO! listed the band as one of the "Best Acts You Should Be Following Today." They've been featured in US WEEKLY, BILLBOARD, on VIBE.com and AOL ENTERTAINMENT. Their music has attracted the interest of celebrities and top artists around the world with tweeted praise coming from the likes of DEMI LOVATO, MILEY CYRUS, ASHTON KUTCHER and RYAN SEACREST.

The group is also well known for their philanthropic spirit. The foursome is an advocate for local, national and global charity efforts including the children’s cancer charity LUCY'S LOVE BUS and THE PIXEL PROJECT, a campaign to stop violence against women. The group’s cover video of the singer P!NK's song "Perfect" was named one of the top anti-bullying PSA's by THE HUFFINGTON POST.
