KHOW's Peter Boyles, Producer In Reported Physical Confrontation

CLEAR CHANNEL Talk KHOW-A/DENVER morning host PETER BOYLES will be off the air FRIDAY after an alleged physical confrontation with Producer GREG HOLLENBACK during TODAY's show (5/23), reports NBC affiliate KUSA-TV (9NEWS)/DENVER.

The TV station, which the DENVER POST reports was at the station for TOM TANCREDO's announcement of his gubernatorial bid in 2014 on the show when the incident occurred, cites "multiple sources" at KHOW as saying that they observed "red marks" on HOLLENBACK's neck after the argument, with one source saying, "Everyone here is disappointed and devastated."  BOYLES told 9NEWS that he "had a very heated exchange" with his longtime producer.  CLEAR CHANNEL declined to comment, issuing a statement calling the incident "a personnel matter. Out of respect for our employees, we are not commenting at this time."
